Recently a guessed requested a vacation pool home near Sea World Orlando, and unfortunately there are not any vacation homes located right next to Sea World. You see Sea World is located in Orange County Florida, and this county has a law in place which does not allow short term vacation rentals. I suggested to the guests we could put them in a condo style place at the Fountains Resort or a suite hotel. We do have vacation pool homes in Kissimmee Florida, but they are located about a 10 minute drive to Sea World.

Most of the vacation homes in the central Florida area are located in Kissimmee or Davenport. There are two main reasons for this:

1) Land- Typically a developer will purchase a huge orange grove from a farmer to build the vacation homes, town homes, or condos. They can purchase an orange grove much cheaper per acre than they can purchase land that has already been developed.

2) Disney World.- Kissimmee and Davenport are located near Disney World and since Disney is the largest attraction in Florida it only makes sense that the vacation homes would be located near the main entrance.

Most of the vacation homes we represent are located within 15 minutes to Disney World, 20 to 25 minutes to Sea World, and 30 minutes to Universal Studios.
