Terra Verde Resort

One of my favorite resorts in all of Orlando is the Terra Verde Resort. This gated community was completed in 2003, and they offer three and four bedroom town homes as well as 3, 4, and 5 bedroom pool homes.

Location to Disney World the other Area Attractions

The Terra Verde Resort is centrally located to all the area Orlando attractions.

• 8 minute drive to Disney World’s Main Gate
• 10 minute drive to SeaWorld
• 12 minute drive to Universal Studios

The resort sits 2 miles south of 192 on Poinciana Blvd. This location was carefully chosen to be close enough to all shops and restaurants on 192, and they made sure it was centrally located to all the theme parks. However, in deciding the location for this beautiful resort, Park Homes wanted to make sure that it offered enough privacy for the guest.

Community Amenities

Once you are ready to leave the privacy and seclusion of your own private 3 or 4 bedroom town home, Terra Verde boast one of the best family atmospheres and clubhouses of the resorts in Orlando. The clubhouse is centrally located and offers 6000 square feet under air. Inside you will find: a cyber game room, meeting rooms, concierge service, and a wonderful work out facility.

Outside the clubhouse Terra Verde has a huge community swimming pool which may be enjoyed by all the guests. This swimming pool is quite unique in that it is a zero restriction pool which means it starts off at toe deep and gradually gets deeper just like the ocean. The pool and deck area overlook and huge, well stocked fishing lake. The sunset views from the deck area are breathtaking.

There is an outdoor Tiki Hut which offers cocktails and snack services, and during peak/ holiday season the resort usually has live entertainment in the evenings for the guest to enjoy.

Size of the town homes

The three bedroom two bath town home is around 1100 square feet and it will accommodate a family of 8. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs and they share a bath while the master suite is located downstairs with it owe private bath.

The four bedroom two and ½ bath town homes has around 1400 square feet of living space and it will accommodate a family of 10. The master suite is located downstairs in theses unites with three bedrooms being upstairs.

Each unit comes complete with all the pots, pans, dishes, and cooking utensils you will find in your own homes.

Final Summary

I like the Terra Verde Resort, because the development has been wonderfully thought out. Yes, there are communities located closer to the theme parks, but none offer the close proximity and privacy that you will find at Terra Verde.

Each one of the units are beautifully decorated and it is especially great for large families, for not only does the units offer more space than a hotel room, but the community offers many activities for all ages.
