Pool Heat for the Orlando vacation homes If you are looking to rent a vacation pool home in Orlando one of the biggest advantages is having your own pool, but what good is having a pool if the water is too cold. Check out the months below that you are traveling and see if you are going to need your pool heat turned on. The pool heaters that we use here in Orlando run off electricity, and they are very expensive have turned on all day long. We charge per day for pool heat, and it will take at least two full days to heat the pool. We have no problem turning on the pool heat when you check-in, but just keep in mind it will still take 2 full days to get the pool heated. Your best bet is to order the pool heaters to be turned on prior to your arrival, this way the pool will be warm enough to enjoy. What we suggest if you are traveling to Orlando in January, February, March, November, or December is to wait a few days prior to your arrival to see what the weather is going to be like. If the temperature is going to be in the 60’s or lower you will definitely want to have the pool heat turned on. January, February, November and December - We suggest all guests staying during these four months to order the pool heat. The average weather during the daytime will be between 70 and 83 degrees but at night the temperature will drop into the 60’s during these months, which really adds a chill to the water. March- This is a tricky month… sometimes the weather will drop into the 60’s at night, but the average daily high for the month will be 85 degrees. Most clients do not need pool heat during March. April thru October- No need to worry the average temperature in Orlando is HOT. ** There is a little misconception about the pool heat, just because the heaters are turned on does not mean the water temperature get real hot. The heaters all Orlando vacation homes use are the smaller heating units, these are not like the ones that you will find in Colorado vacation homes. By turning on the pool heat, the water will warm-up but it will not get to be real hot. |
